Mia Best, MD FAAP

Pediatrician of Behavioral Health and Integration Guidance, Children's Health

Dr. Mia Best is a board - certified general pediatrician with experience in child and adolescent mental health. She received her B.S. in Biology with Summa Cum Laude honors. She graduated medical school at The Brody School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Florida. She has special interests in eliminating health disparities and inequalities at multiple social-ecological levels. She is currently pursuing an MPH with a concentration of behavioral and social science. Her hobbies include spending time with my her 4 year old son and husband, traveling, and writing children’s books. She is the pediatrician of the new Behavioral Guidance and Integration Health Initiative.
