Mary Beth Fisk

CEO & Executive Director, The Ecumenical Center for Education, Counseling and Health

Mary Beth Fisk has more than 40 years’ experience in the nonprofit sector as a visionary, executive, clinical research scientist, and community builder. An active volunteer, Mary Beth was elected to The Ecumenical Center’s Board of Directors and has served on several local and national boards. In 2009, and in 2012, she was named a Health Care Hero in the areas of innovation and administrative excellence by the San Antonio Business Journal and recently received the Business Journal’s C-Suite award in September, 2022.

For the past ten years, Mary Beth has served as the CEO/Executive Director of The Ecumenical Center for Education, Counseling and Health. She has expanded the business from one main office and a satellite office to an organization with 40 locations throughout Central and South Texas providing mental and behavioral health services to many under-resourced populations. Mary Beth was instrumental in facilitating The Center’s prompt response providing counseling services after the mass shooting events in both Sutherland Springs and Uvalde, Texas. She has established The Center for Healing and Hope in the Sutherland Springs area and has served as the Interim Director for The Resiliency Center in Uvalde, Texas, after the tragic incident at Robb Elementary School.
